Eran Zehavi is a conductor, arranger, and orchestrator working at the rare intersection of opera, operetta, and classical-pop crossover, reshaping existing repertoire to serve the operatic voice and contemporary audiences. Recent work includes musical director of the HATIKVA Project with Symphonette Raanana (conducting, piano, all arrangements and orchestrations), orchestrator on the world premiere of Theodor at the Israeli Opera, and assistant conductor on Le Nozze di Figaro under Maestro Michele Gamba. He is on faculty in the Vocal Department of the Universität der Künste Berlin.

Alongside his work in Berlin, Eran maintains a long-standing collaboration with the Israeli Opera, where he has also served as pianist, musical director, and arranger across the company's productions.

At the UdK, where he has taught since 2024, Eran works closely with professional opera singers alongside leading voice teachers. From 2019 to 2022 he was music director of the Hebrew Choir Berlin.

Eran holds a Bachelor of Music in Orchestral Conducting from the Buchmann–Mehta School of Music at Tel Aviv University, where he studied with Prof. Yoav Talmi, Yi-Ian Xu, and Prof. Ronen Borshevsky. He has continued his development in Berlin with Maestro Symeon Ioannidis and in piano with Dr. Yossi Reshef, and through masterclasses with conductors including Nikolay Lalov, Mariusz Smolij, Alpaslan Ertüngealp, Frans Rasmussen, and Martin Åkerwall.

His artistic work centres on emotional clarity and collaboration. He specialises in arrangement and orchestration, reshaping existing works into new forms that speak to contemporary audiences while remaining true to their original essence.
