The Israeli Opera’s production of Le nozze di Figaro ran from March 27 to April 9, 2022, in Tel Aviv.

This new production was directed by Sir David Pountney and conducted by Maestro Michele Gamba. I had the privilege of serving as Maestro Gamba’s assistant conductor and stepped in to conduct two general rehearsals during the production period. Here is a snippet of the overture from one of those rehearsals.
